Feeding Our Neighbors

This is a local mission to help provide meals for people housed at the Quince Street Village. The village is managed by Catholic Community Services and houses 100 homeless people in tiny homes donated by local builders. Currently we are providing 100 lunches every 2 weeks.

The FON stands for "Feeding Our Neighbors" and our motto is "Let's have FON" while providing much needed meals.

Please contact Jeff Armstrong at jeffreydean522@msn.com or 360-489-9271 if you would like to help.

The next few dates are June 9th, June 23rd, July 7th, July 21st, August 4th, and August 18th.

Trunk or Treat

We believe Halloween should be a safe and fun time for all children and families. Whether you have 5 minutes or 30, you are officially invited to our community wide Trunk or Treat gathering from 5:30pm-8:00pm on Oct. 31st. Our Trunk or Treat will feature families from our church who decorate the trunks of their cars and pass out candy. There will be free hotdogs, kid's games, and lots of candy all in a fun, safe environment. Come and go as you please. Trunk or Treat will happen rain or shine. If you have any questions please call the church office @ 360-352-9044.

We are located at 2508 State Ave. NE, Olympia and Trunk or Treat will be in the side church parking lot. We will have security and traffic control to keep everything organized and safe. When you arrive go to the large tent and register to receive a bracelet which gives you access to free food, kid's games and all the cars handing out candy.

We hope to see you there.

This is a FREE event!

Cookie & Sock Outreach

Collecting cookies and socks for Thurston County Jail and the Olympia Union Gospel Mission is an

annual ministry at EBF. Homemade cookies and warm socks might seem like very simple things, but they are a powerful way to show inmates and mission clients that they are loved. It is an opportunity for our church family to share Christ’s love in a tangible way with people who are alone and without family at this time in their lives.

Angel Tree 2023

Every child has a story and for 2.7 million children in the U.S., that story may be filled with the abandonment, loneliness, and shame that come from having a mom or dad in prison. For many, it may also include following their parents down the same destructive road to incarceration. Angel Tree®, a program of Prison Fellowship, reaches out to the children of prisoners and their families with the love of Christ. Prison Chaplains offer inmates the opportunity to sign up their children to receive Christmas presents and local churches find people to purchase and deliver these presents in the name of their incarcerated parent. It is a great way for us to show the love of Christ to inmates and their families.

How does it work?

1. Find the "Angel Tree" table in the lobby

2. Each child has 2 "Angel's" with their name on it and each Angel represents gifts that total $25. So we buy $50 of presents for each child. One $25 gift is a practical gift (clothes, etc.). The other $25 gift is a fun gift (toys, etc.)

3. You can select as many "Angels" as you would like to buy gifts for.

4. Bring back the gifts to EBF by TBD.

5. If you don't want to do the shopping, you can donate the $$ and we have people that will do the shopping for the gifts.

6. On Sunday, TBD we will invite all our Angel Tree families to come to EBF to pick up their presents from 12:00pm-2:00pm. This is a great time for you to be here to help us greet families and be available to answer any questions they might have and be available to pray for people.
